Scottish Cup Final 2023
Congratulations to the Scottish Cup winners:

Team Short beat Spears (Brian Spears, Barnet Shenkin, Derek Diamond and Iain Sime) 126 85 over 64 boards.
Thanks to the New Melville Bridge Club for hosting the event and all those who made the day a success. It was broadcast on BBO Vugraph and there were over 300 people watching.

Northern Bridge League
The Northern Bridge League is organized for teams of 8 from the various counties in the North of England. However, 2 years ago the SBU was invited to put in a team to make up numbers in their top Division, and then last year we were asked to put in teams for all 3 Divisions. Those who participated seemed to really enjoy playing and it’s an opportunity to earn some green points which convert into red ones when they cross the Border. We’ve been asked if we would like to play again this year.

1st European Online Women's Teams Championships 7-9 June 2024
This is being held on the RealBridge platform and teams can consist of 4-6 players (but an additional 2 can be added as captain and coach). The cost is just 120 Euros per team for a whole weekend of bridge - incredible value.
