Women's Teams
The Bulletin Cup. The Scottish Bridge Union's second national competition was announced in January 1936: a Women's Teams of Four for a trophy donated by the 'Glasgow Bulletin'. It was to be run on the same knockout lines as the Scottish Cup, but in 1974 the format was changed to a "Swiss teams" format. From 1950 until 1974 the winners of the Scottish Women's Cup were automatically selected to represent Scotland in the Lady Milne Trophy. In 1974 this privilege came to an end with the introduction of Women's Trials.
