Marion Hill Trophy (Gold Cup Plate)
Presented by Marion Hill, President 1990-91. Scotland has usually produced a large entry to the Gold Cup, the British national team's event. British entry fees are considerably higher than Scottish ones, and Council decided to emulate England by introducing a Plate event in 1990 for teams eliminated in the first round of the Gold Cup.
