5th National Online Competition

The event will be played on BBO.  Ensure that you have enough in your BBO account to cover the entry cost and your BBO name is registered on your Mempad account.

if you have trouble entering on the day send a message/chat within BBO to SBU_TD8  - the login used by the director Matthew Robb.  He will sort out any problems. 

Registration is now closed - SBU members are welcome to join on the day. 

The events will run as Swiss Pairs – there will be 48 boards and long matches (usually 8 rounds of 6 boards) scored in matchpoints. There will be .25 of a national point for each win and .13 for a draw.  There will be 4 National (red) points for the winners and awards for the top third of the field. 

The problem with re-matches in the previous BBO Swss Pairs has been resolved. 

Entry Fee BBO $22 per pair.

Start Time 11.00 am  Finish time around 6.00 pm.  There will be a break at  around 2.00 pm
