The Hugh Kelsey Cup 25th to 28th March 2024

There are as few Rules as possible, but:

¨ All participants must be bona fide Learners, attending Classes for Beginners or Improvers - not regular Club players! Different Classes may combine to form a heat.

¨ Since the same boards will be played, a Learner may participate once only. (We trust you not to pass on any information that might be useful to your friends....)

¨ There will be hand records and a commentary to be distributed at the end of play (The Organiser/Teacher will make the boards up in advance).

¨ Each Pair must play at least 10 out of 12 boards to be eligible for major prizes.

¨ The minimum number of tables is 2. Movements will be supplied for any number of tables.

¨ Heats can be played any time during the week 25th to the 28th of March 2024 morning, afternoon or evening The matches may be played on BBO, Real Bridge or Face to Face. We can accommodate heats close to the date to suit clubs.

¨ Name lists, score sheets and entry fees of £3.00 per head to be returned within 3 days of the heat. (Schools may run a heat, Juniors are charged half price).

¨ Prizes will be awarded to heat winners and the leading pairs on the overall ranking list.
