UPCOMING TOURNAMENTS

National Pairs Heats 16th or 17th March.  There will be six heats in Aberdeen, Prestwick, Edinburgh (Melville), Glasgow (GBC), Dundee, and Inverness.  Everybody will play the same hands and the event will be rescored over the field.    You can only play in one heat. 

SIMS The Easter Pairs are running from 18th to 21st March.  Check if you club is running a heat  - if not there is still time for clubs to organise one.   

Scottish Swiss Pairs Sunday 31th March.  Online on RealBridge,  this is a trophy event with more masterpoints than the other online tournaments.

Five tournaments for different ranks.  Registration opens 1^st April.  There have been changes in the eligibility over the last couple of years.  The current arrangements are:

Steve Bailey Bronze Pairs Sunday 25^th February 2024, on BBO starting at 1pm

Glasgow Bridge Centre will be running a single session MP Pairs on-line on Sunday 25^th February 2024, starting at 1pm.  The event is open to all Bronze players in Scotland , in memory of Steve Bailey.  

East District Bronze Challenge Saturday March 2nd

This annual event for Bronze players will be taking place at the Carlton BC at 1pm on Saturday March 2nd 2024.  The entry fee is £15 per pair.

Perth Bridge Club Spring Swiss Pairs Tournament Saturday 7th April

12 for 12.30 start £17pp to include afternoon tea ‘in a box’
