Thank you to everyone across the country who participated in the Festival of Bridge, whether it was organising an event in a bridge club or at home, attending events or creating imaginative pop-up bridge. More than 50 different events were held across Scotland as part of this inaugural Festival.
We’re delighted to advise that we have already raised over £10,700 for Cancer Research UK, surpassing our target of £10,000 with more donations to come from events still be held.
The pop-up challenge caught the imagination of many people, resulting in pop-up bridge played on bridges, under bridges, on haystacks, in swimming pools, nail bars, sport centres, shops, cafes, golf clubs, museums, cinemas, air stations and even a lighthouse! There will be a vote for the favourite pop-up so watch this space.
