Annual General Meeting
SBU's AGM will take place on Tuesday 21 May at 7.00 pm via Zoom. Formal notices will be issued at the beginning of May but in the meantime members are invited to advise by 30 April of any Resolutions that they would like to be included on the agenda and any nominations to join the Board of Trustees. UPCOMING TOURNAMENTS
National Pairs Heats 16th or 17th March. There will be six heats in Aberdeen, Prestwick, Edinburgh (Melville), Glasgow (GBC), Dundee, and Inverness. Everybody will play the same hands and the event will be rescored over the field. You can only play in one heat.
SIMS The Easter Pairs are running from 18th to 21st March. Check if you club is running a heat - if not there is still time for clubs to organise one.
Scottish Swiss Pairs Sunday 31th March. Online on RealBridge, this is a trophy event with more masterpoints than the other online . . .

John Murdoch
We are deeply saddened to report the death of John Murdoch on15 December. John was a mainstay of Scottish Bridge, a staunch supporter of all our competitions and a regular member of Scottish International teams.
John's funeral will be held at Co-op Funeralcare, Sunnyside Road Alloa FK10 2AP on Wednesday January 3 at 11am.
He was a bridge player of the highest quality and an excellent partner. He won 44 Camrose Caps between 1988 and 2015 with six different partners; and appeared in 6 Senior Camrose teams with three different partners. He played twice in . . .
