The 16th World Bridge Games will be held in Salsomaggiore Terme, Italy from 21 August – 4 September 2020. This event was previously known as the World Team Olympiad.

No trials were necessary and the International Committee is pleased to announce the following have been selected to represent Scotland:

National Women's Teams Liz McGowan, Fiona McQuaker, Sheila Adamson, Abi Milne
National Seniors' Teams Iain Sime, John Murdoch, Brian Short, Alan Goodman, Anne Symons 
National Mixed Teams Jim Forsyth, Susan Aitchison, Bob McKinnon, Cathy Ferguson, Martin Diamond & Joyce Benson  NPC Angus Macdonald


The teams may add additional members subject to the approval of the International Committee.

WBF Letter regarding the coronavirus situation (3 March 2020)

The World Bridge Games has National Pairs Championships for all four categories that will take place during the second week (starting on
the morning of Saturday 29 August and ending on Friday 4 September) and will consist of a qualification stage, semifinal and final. This is open to any Scottish pair in good standing - contact Anne Perkins for more information.
