Junior National Pairs
This event has been cancelled.
Frischmann Trophy. New Melville BC. Single-session matchpointed pairs. Open to all junior players (born on or after 1 January 1995). It is not necessary to be an SBU member. Entry is free and the Melville Bridge Club will not charge table money. The winners will be invited to represent Scotland Juniors in the Chairman's Cup in Sweden in July.
Scottish Cup Plate
Knockout teams of four, being a consolation event for teams eliminated from the Scottish Cup in the first round in which they play, providing this is no later than the second round. This competition is run according to the rules of the Scottish Cup. There is no direct entry into the Plate.
Spence Cup
This event has been cancelled.
Match pointed pairs (39 boards) for the winners and runners-up in the Pairs Championship of each of the seven Districts. Venue rotates around the districts.

Easter Simultaneous Match pointed pairs - clubs can choose whether to play F2F or online. Clubs should request the Deal file for the day they are holding the event from Anna Gudge
The highest scoring mixed pair over the week will be awarded the Bobby Allan Trophy (you do not have to be a Mixed Pair to play in the Easter Sims).

Registration is now closed with 33 teams.
ANNOUNCEMENT - 16th July 2022
Scoring by International Match Points (IMP). The number of seeds will depend on the overall numbers. The number of boards played increases as the rounds progress, from 32 to 64 boards in the final. Entry is £40 per team: ‘Unlucky’ teams who lose their first match have a second chance in the Scottish Cup Plate. Entries will close on 22nd July 2022.

General Information
This is the Scottish Cup - Daily Record Trophy - Scotland’s premier event - knockout teams of four. Scoring is by International Matchpoints (IMP).
Teams should be prepared to play face-to-face or online bridge, depending upon covid restraints, location and agreement of both captains. If online, RealBridge will be favoured and imposed from the quarter-finals onwards.

This is a multple teams of four competition for the Edward Rayne Trophy. Each District selects teams and 16 teams compete in a final.
The final will start at 11am and will be held on Real Bridge.
