We only have 7 teams entered for this competition at present. This is not enough teams to run a semi-final and a final over two days and it is unlikely that we will get sufficient new entries for that format.
We will now run a one day event, all play all, on the Sunday (22nd October) in Stirling. All teams registered will be eligible to play – new registrations will be allowed. The new entry fee will be £60 per team, new entrants should pay by bank transfer – details in the right hand column on the competitions list on the web site.
We have tried to be innovative this year in the way events are run – some innovations work better than others. I know that a lot of people will disagree with this decision – please accept that whatever decision we had made there would be disagreement. We will be consulting about the format of this competition and the Scottish Cup for 2024-5 and beyond later this year and everyone will have an opportunity to make a contribution.
