National Summer Online Swiss Pairs - Bronze and Silver Players only

This event will be run similar to the Bronze only event to encourage Bronze and maybe some Silver players who have not played this format before. There will be an extra prize for the best Bronze pair.

The event will start at 12 noon and there will be 7 x 5 board rounds, 35 boards in total. Time allowed will be 8 minutes per board – longer than normal.

It will be played on RealBridge. If you have not played on RealBridge there is information here and there are Taster Sessions. There will be helpers around before the start to provide help to get online of you need it.

Online entries

The list of entries is updated immediately; you will receive an emailed receipt with a cancellation code if you need to withdraw. You will receive a further email a few days before the event.

How to pay for BBO events

If the entry price is quoted in BBO$ then payment is on the day when you enter the event. You need to register for the event on BBO - allow at least 15 minutes prior to the start in case of problems. Ensure you have enough money in your BBO account to pay the entry fee.

How to pay for other events

Payments must be made by Credit or Debit Card. There will be a payment link for the event on the event description. Use this to make your payment. If you need to pay a different amount, for instance if you have a Junior in your team, contact treasurer@sbu.org.uk for a specific payment link.

The event is not shown?

Events disappear from the Calendar when they have been run. If you need to pay for a completed tournament, there is a list of completed tournaments here with the payment links.

Need to cancel?

If you no longer wish to play in an event, you can use the Cancellation Link which is included in your emailed entry receipt, so hang on to that. If you need to change your lineup, please contact the convener directly. You could also cancel and re-enter.

An email with the joining link will be sent to the person registering the day before the event. The event will also be added to the Event Description on the website.
