Extra Scottish Cup Information

From BBW Apr 1937 Scottish News by A Beverley Currie P 231

The final of the Scottish Cup competition will be an all-Jewish affair. In the semi-final Miss Golombok’s (Glasgow Jewish Institute) team got the better of A Cuthill’s (Singer) four by no less than 3,830 points, while any hopes that the Cup would remain in the Buchanan were dashed when M V Strang’s (Circle Club, Glasgow) four defeated H G Nicolson’s team by 1720 points. The Circle Club team play in the Third Division of the Western District League and have put up a fine record this season. The final should be a close affair between two evenly matched teams
