MEMPAD is the SBU Membership and Master Point Admin Database.

It contains individual details of your points won and ranking promotions, as well as contact information allowing you to contact others, and others to contact you. We are a social organisation, ease of communication is important for the well-being and smooth running of the organisation. The MEMPAD site is protected by security software; see the green padlock in the top-left hand corner of your browser.

It is a different site from the SBU website, but you can link to it via the big blue mempad button below (below the black & white dog), or bookmark on your own browser. It is password protected whereas this SBU website is mostly open to all.  If you have problems trying to log into MEMPAD, or grapple with ID, User Names or passwords, then read on. We receive about ten queries a week associated with log-ins, passwords and inaccurate or missing email addresses.

To forget your password is not a crime, it happens with all websites, so we have procedures to deal with the situation.

To forget one's MP number (which is your USER ID/Name) however, is more serious, how could you - LOL!

Your club Secretary can help if you do.  People often think that their User ID is the same as their email address - not so for MEMPAD!

Even if using an email address is a fairly standard website approach elsewhere, we do not and cannot follow this approach because we allow members to use common email addresses, so that spouses can rely on one person handling both accounts. So you need to remember both your own MP number and the password you created for MEMPAD. We need to know your email address for contact purposes and send you a new password when you occasionally forget it. We also use members' email address to inform them of news and events that could be of interest to them, but we use this carefully.  Please make sure your email address is correctly recorded on MEMPAD.

Even then you may have difficulties, and if so, the guidance below can help you sort it out without having to own up (LOL).
